Chelsea Handler is walking away from her Netflix talk show

The streaming giant has canceled its first talk show after a two-season run. Handler, who will make the announcement Wednesday on her her social media pages, is expected to focus on activism. Fox Orders Pilot From Jerrod Carmichael Starring ‘Insecure’ Actor Lil Rel Howery

Jerrod Carmichael wasn’t out of a network TV job for long. Fox has ordered a put pilot from the “Carmichael Show” alum for his untitled comedy starring “Insecure” actor Lil Rel Howery.

The multi-camera comedy will be executive produced by Carmichael and Mike Scully. Writing and executive producing are Josh Rabinowitz, Kevin Barnett and co-creator Lil Rel Howery.

Scully is showrunner.

Freeform to Add 4th Night of Original Shows in 2018

Nickelodeon Suspends ‘Loud House’ Creator After Numerous Sexual Harassment Claims — Report

Chris Savino, the creator of Nickelodeon’s hit animated series “The Loud House,” has reportedly been suspended by the network after numerous sexual harassment allegations made against him. Cartoon Brew first reported the creator’s leave of absence.

The website has learned that as many as 12 women have accused Savino of harassment, which includes the creator reportedly making unwanted sexual advances on employees. He would also reportedly threaten co-workers with industry blacklisting after their consensual relationship ended. The harassment claims go back at least a decade.
