Quotes

Mark Sampson: I don't plan on dying, Frank. But you can't live your life in fear. I was back east at the end of the war, in Boston.
Frank Frink: Oh, Jesus.
Mark Sampson: Yeah. You had to see it to believe it, Frank. Overnight, lynch mobs were murdering Jews because suddenly we were less than human.
Frank Frink: And what did you do?
Mark Sampson: Well, those of us who came out in one piece. We buried service weapons underground, well wrapped in oil, and we vowed revenge. I got a life to lead, got kids to raise. And Hitler and the Nazis - I mean, I don't care how...

When mystery meets passion, the most surprising show of late
11 October 2017 | by See all my reviews

I really liked the title before i watched any episode, though i did not actually have big expectations, the title gave me some positive taste and the fact that i knew already Alexa Davalos from Riddick series (she is kind of actress who leaves some mark on you) and eventually after i watched first season, a delightful taste left on my mind.

I love historical titles and i love sci-fi/paranormal/time-oriented titles too, this series brings forth both concepts in a single title so well-thought, i really felt the story and found myself in it somehow with pure marvel and mystery. After i watched season two, my wonder grew even bigger. I still don't know what is gonna happen and it still thrills me in a way both retrospective, intriguing and awe-inspiring at the same time. I must say beside the powerful younger actors in the series, Rufus Sewell is the one actor whom i found myself watching with great admiration. He is so perfect in this series, how he gives life to Smith character is so admirable you can almost touch the character's soul with both hatred and compassion at the same time.. Overall this series became one of my favourite series against all odds surprisingly. And i hope and wish we will see yet many other seasons with inspiring & complementary stories and character developments attached as well.
