An unlikely father figure, Valentin raises Maggie for six years, while also establishing himself as one of Hollywood's top stuntmen to pay the bills, with Maggie acting as his on-set coach. The movie is subtitled and I don't know Spanish, but I loved every second of this movie! I laughed with tears running down my eyes from beginning to end! The main actor throws himself into this movie and he and his new found daughter are SO charming together as she grows up. The girl who plays the daughter is perfectly cast and she is wonderful in this picture whether she is negotiating with movie directors or telling stories in her classroom, this little spark-plug steals every scene she is in! Go see this movie this week! My theater was packed and got a standing ovation! You will laugh and cry and then 2 seconds later, Laugh again way out loud!!
